Tablet digital signage

A tablet is the easiest screen to put up.

No installer, no cables, no building work: plug in an Android tablet, type a code and it is publishing. Perfect for the counter, the reception desk, or the shop where a TV will not fit.

Why a tablet

The screen already sitting in your drawer.

No need to buy a TV or hire someone to mount it. A low-cost tablet, a stand, and you are on air — right at eye level, exactly where the customer decides.

Easy

Installs in a minute

Download the player from matrixign.com/tablet, open it and type the code the dashboard gives you. No PC, no cables, no technical knowledge.

Self-running

Comes back after a power cut

Power returns and the tablet switches on and plays by itself. It also starts with NO internet: it keeps its content and carries on with the network down.

Adapts

Portrait or landscape

Mount it whichever way suits you: the content fits the shape of the screen on its own, and rearranges without stretching when you rotate it.

Your call

Fit or fill

Choose per screen whether content fits whole (with borders) or fills everything by cropping. Changed from the dashboard, without touching the tablet.

Scheduling

Content by time of day

Morning promo, afternoon promo. Schedule by days and time slots — each screen uses its own local time.

How to install

From the box to on air in 3 steps.

01 /

Create the screen

In the Studio: Devices → + New device, type Android Tablet. You get a pairing code.

02 /

Install the player

On the tablet go to matrixign.com/tablet and download the app. Open it when it finishes.

03 /

Pair and done

Type the code and your content goes full screen. Set it as the home app and it stays put.

Great for

Where to put a tablet?

Counter and checkout

At eye level while they pay: promos, bundles and the product of the month right when they decide.

Reception and waiting areas

Queue numbers, services and sponsors on a loop — no building work, no cables along the wall.

Small shops

Where a TV will not fit: kiosks, pharmacies, barbershops. Same network, same campaign.

FAQ

About tablet digital signage.

Does any tablet work?

Any Android tablet running version 5 or newer, budget ones included. An iPad will not: on iPad you use the web player in the browser.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The tablet stores its content and keeps playing with the network down; it even starts with no internet after a power cut, and resyncs on its own when the connection returns.

Can I split the screen into zones?

Not on tablet yet. Scenarios (video + text + clock at once) work today on the Windows player and in the browser. On tablet the playlist plays full screen.

How do I lock it so nobody exits?

Set it as the tablet home app: it opens by itself when powered on and the back button will not leave it. One-minute, one-time setup.

That tablet in the drawer could be
selling tomorrow.
